<0>Falkland is a design studio for internet technology and personal data in Eindhoven. We focus on creating an internet for everyone, by everyone. For the latter half of 2025, we're opening an internship at Studio Falkland, located at ++, a design space for technology at Strijp-S.<1>What you can expect<2><3>We offer a four-month internship starting in August/September 2025, 4-5 days a week<4>You'll be involved in creative processes and execution of a diverse set of projects<5><6>Installation design and production at museums and design festivals<7>Design and development of our own apps and platforms for processing sensitive data <8>Client work involving practical, human-centered AI application and personal data processing<9>You'll work at ++, a design space for technology in Strijp-S, with various other designers and disciplines<10>You'll receive an internship reimbursement<11>What we're looking for<12><13>You are a student with a design background, studying in the Netherlands (HBO or WO)<14>You have one (or a combination) of the following skillsets<15><16>Digital making (programming, simple electronics)<17>Digital design (UI, UX, graphic)<18>Installation design (spatial, mechanical, light)<19>Design research (strategy, user)<20>You care about pressing internet issues, such as personal data collection, social influence of algorithms or digital autonomy<21>You have a knack for intuitive and visually appealing designs<22>You have all the qualities of a modern designer: proactivity, self-directed learning, critical thinking and a strong, intuitive grasp on the design process<23>Based on your profile, we can make a match with our ongoing projects. We can also match you with one of the other designers working in ++, in disciplines such as sustainability, interaction design, critical design and design for AI.<24>We'd love to hear from you.
